On Friday, 30 May, the sale of BJC (F\u00e1brica Electrot\u00e9cnica Josa, S.A.) to the European group ELKO EP was officially announced, bringing the transaction that began in March to a successful conclusion.<\/span><\/div>\n

This agreement marks a turning point in the history of BJC, which is now embarking on a new chapter with great enthusiasm, a forward-looking approach and a clear commitment to growth<\/strong>, innovation and close ties with its partners and customers.<\/span><\/div>\n

With 100 years of experience, BJC has been a leader in the electrical equipment sector in Spain for decades, thanks to its strong technical expertise, design capabilities and a production plant that is synonymous with quality and dedication. Now, by joining the ELKO EP group, the brand is not only building on its legacy, but also opening up new opportunities on a global scale. ELKO EP is a European group based in the Czech Republic<\/strong>. It is highly specialised in advanced electronic solutions for home automation, industrial automation and the hotel industry. It has 16 sites that export to over 70 countries<\/strong>, combining state-of-the-art technology, in-house manufacturing in the EU<\/strong> and a proven track record in developing innovative products since 1993.<\/strong> <\/span><\/div>\n

ELKO EP’s acquisition provides BJC with the opportunity to add cutting-edge technological solutions<\/strong> to its catalogue, while maintaining the brand’s identity. It also increases BJC capacity to meet the demands of the market. For ELKO EP, this is also a further step towards becoming a leading manufacturer of inserts in the countries in which it operates, making the Barcelona plant one of the new group’s key sites and core manufacturing centres. One of ELKO EP’s strengths is innovation, especially in electronic relay, smart home and smart building solutions. These products will broaden and complement BJC’s catalogue in the coming months, and will be available to the company’s customers with local stock and support. <\/span><\/div>\n

The BJC catalogue will soon include one of ELKO EP’s flagship products: the multifunction relay. This product brings high added value and is tried and tested in the most demanding markets, with a successful track record spanning more than two decades. <\/span><\/div>\n
